Children across the school are fully included in all activities and school events. With the support of outside agencies, clinics and specialists, our personalised approach to learning ensures that every pupil is taught how to develop their communication skills and interact with one another so that, for example, pupils on the autistic spectrum thrive in equal measure to other pupils.
The Learning Disability Child Adolescent Mental Health Service ( LD CAMHS) provides support for children and young people up to the age of 18 years and their families, where the child or young person is experiencing significant mental health problems or complex needs, in addition to their learning disability. The Community Team provides specialist assessment, diagnosis and intervention for children and young people with a learning disability, for a range of complex problems, where universal services are not able to meet the child or young person's needs.
