At KTS Academy, we are wholly committed to 'the individual rights of the child', and aim to promote outstanding equality of opportunity. All pupils access a range of additional activities which enhance their curriculum depending upon their individual needs.

These activities include hydrotherapy, rebound therapy, physiotherapy, sensory intergration, swimming sessions at the local swimming baths, soft play, light room, ICT - including the use of iPads, computers, touch screens and switch adapted equipment. We also appreciate the value of outdoor learning to provide the pupils with lots of exciting opportunities.

Where pupils needs require support from other agencies, they are supported with additional programmes or care plans from the Speech and Language Therapy team, physiotherapists, school nurse or Occupational Therapists. Staff within the school work closely with these professionals to provide support for the pupils.
