Many of our pupils have complex needs including complex physical and health needs. We have specially designed areas and equipment to support pupils. This includes a soft play area, hydrotherapy pool, interactive sound and light rooms, sensory integration room and outdoor sensory garden areas. We also have a large trampoline to deliver Rebound Therapy.

Pupils have specialist equipment in classrooms that is individual to them, including specialist chairs, beanbags and other equipment. Staff work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to support pupils and deliver programmes.

All of the classrooms around school reflect the needs of the pupils and some rooms are equipped with ceiling hoists and physio areas, to ensure pupil’s needs can be effectively met within the classroom and their therapeutic programmes can be delivered within the classroom and integrated into their curriculum and learning.
