Level 4 Teaching Assistant 

Contract Type: Permanent 

Contracted Hours: 35 hours per week, plus PD Days 

NJC Scale Point: SCP 12-14

Salary: £26,421 - £27,334 pro rata (Actual pay £21,688 – £22,438) (Pay Amended in line with NJC Terms and Conditions)

KTS Academy are looking to appoint a Level 4 Teaching Assistant to compliment the professional work of the classroom Teacher.  

Your role will involve working alongside the class Teacher in organising and implementing an appropriate learning environment. You will be expected to lead small group work and support individual pupils. You will also be required to deputise for the teacher in their absence (Short term).  

A Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable; excellent Numeracy and Literacy skills are essential, previous experience of working within this role or with children & adults with SEND is also essential.

Previous experience of working with children or adults with SEND is desirable. If appointed, you would be joining an outstanding staff team and would be given the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills by working across the whole Academy.
